My name is Novia DS Vincze, I was born in Malang, East Java, Indonesia;  the youngest child of 5 siblings, from Hendro and Jenny Surjaseputra. My father loved taking pictures of the family and friends using a Rolleiflex camera. He had his own dark room to print his own pictures.  I was not allowed in the dark room, because of all the chemicals he was using, but the years went by, he eventually let me stand in the corner and observe how he worked. I found it very amazing and magical!

I started taking pictures outdoors in 2010, the nature, wild animals, beautiful sunrise and sunsets, and during travels.  Making artwork out of the simplest things grew on me, which led me to sign up for a more technical course, "Professional Photography", through the "New York Institute of Photography". I was fortunate to have the opportunity to gain experience in the High School environment, as my son started high school in 2016.  He plaid in the school's marching band and I became one of the photographers following their successful football team and marching band around for games and events.  I had so much fun and loved being able to capture those memories.  I also do Senior's pictures, banquets, graduation and much more.  

The last few years I have focused my attention on "Light Painting", which fascinates me - it is not just shooting a picture, but more like creating a piece of art.
